"My name does happen to be Quinn, and if those are my ones, the note threatens that a guy called Puck will kick your ass if you take his babymomma's popsicles?. I'm so lucky aren't I?!" she said, voice laden with sarcasm. But at least now she had popsicles. He'd done that right at least, she decided, as she moved across to take it from Elliot and work on opening the thing. They were irritating, she could never find the little tear that made ripping them open irritating. But she'd work it out, she had to, popsicley goodness demanded it. "I suppose it makes more sense than eating this in January but I don't claim to make sense of food right now. Plus I'm way too warm. I turned the heat down in my apartment but its not helping any." She finally got the popsicle open and started work on it, wondering if this was her life now, random conversations over chilli making. She couldn't learn to fight, she wasn't any good at the book stuff, she was pretty sure she'd suck at being a mom, But she could be social.
"So, how long have you been here?" she asked wondering if he'd eventually get annoyed at her interrupting his cooking and ask her to leave. She would if he asked that but she was curious about the chilli, her mother had never let her watch the maid make food, it hadn't been right to interrupt her doing her job. So as long as she could stay here and listen then that's what she would do.
