WHO: Sora & Cissie.
WHAT: Sora's got a watergun.
WHEN: Afternoon.
WHERE: The apartment complex.
RATING: PG.

It was never a good thing when Sora got bored. He usually got around to doing stupid kinds of stuff, like skateboarding down staircases or cupcake eating contests waged against some of the local kids in the neighborhood. Kids who were about ten years younger than himself and usually didn't care much that it was a contest at all; so long as they were getting cupcakes, they were happy campers indeed. Hanging out with little kids, injuring himself by skating down a flight of stairs, and so on were only the beginning of his escapades as the bored teenager with nothing to do, no one to see, and nowhere to go. It was his day off and, as such, if Sora didn't find something to do with himself soon he was going to probably end up going all kinds of stir crazy. Fortunately, with a mind like his, it wasn't too hard to figure out something. Maybe it wasn't the most appealing something to other people, but Sora was easily entertained. He filled up the big old water gun that he'd bought at the toy store a few weeks ago (it was on sale because it was winter), trudged out of his apartment, and began walking around. Pretending that he was a security guard or some kind of spy looking for bad guys that had infiltrated the building, Sora ducked from hall to hall, right up until he hit the kitchen.

It was there that he decided to hide inside of one of the cupboards. Clearly, it was a clever plan, as the enemy had to get hungry sometime. This was a public kitchen. The bad guys would think to go and steal their food, then they'd turn and wham. Sora would have them down on the ground, begging to be arrested before they knew it. He'd be a hero. You know, again.

Yes, Sora clearly had a very imaginative mind for an eighteen year old boy. But he liked being that way. It made life a whole lot more fun. He didn't want to turn into a big bore like Riku, now did he? As awesome as Riku could be, there were just some parts of his best friend that he did not want to take to himself. Like not being able to appreciate Santa or pull crazy stunts like this, where Sora completely planned on hiding in the cupboard until someone popped into the kitchen so that he could surprise them. Well, so long as that someone wasn't someone that would get angry about it afterward. Sora had to be really careful about that.

The bosses at their place of employment had decided - since Cissie and Sora were so regularly teamed up and they seemed to get along so well and since Sora had brought her in, they'd given them the same day off. It was somewhat of an odd business practice, this Cissie knew, but she wasn't about to argue.

She'd gotten up late because of the day off. The only problem being that she still had things to do. One problem being here had been the question of whether or not she would be able to open a bank account... the fact was that - upon looking herself up online - there hadn't been all that much on her as a character, but that was one thing. All the same she'd decided better not to, at least not until she got a working social security number. She didn't want to be deported or anything. She'd spent part of the day - since she'd been awake - practicing for ballet class tomorow, but unfortunately had nothing in her apartment.

Cissie's stomach didn't usually get the best of her, but she was craving a sandwhich, and as she went through the cabinets searching for some bread, she had no idea what was waiting for her. If she'd been smart she might have realized that something was up. IT was too quiet. Sora was off and there was nothing in the hallways. His voice couldn't be heard echoing off the buildings for miles around. Finally she had one more cabinet left. The bread had to be in there.

The only thing that was currently tucked away inside of the cabinet that Cissie was raiding was a very excited teenager with a watergun in hand. He had been watching Cissie through the cracks of the door, knowing full well that she was someone that he could easily jump on with a couple sprays of water without having to live in fear for his life as a result. There were a few people in the complex that he couldn't mess with like that; since he and Cissie were friends who often went about shooting each other with things working at a laser tag facility in the first place, Sora didn't think that he was at much of a risk with joking around with her as he would be with someone else. A devious grin crept it's way across his face, hidden in the shadows, and he pressed his back to the far side of the cabinet, preparing himself to leap out at her as soon as she opened the door. It was a large enough space for him to fit into, but he was the only thing that could have fit on the inside because of that very fact. There was no bread in there - nope, just Sora, right on the verge of pouncing poor Cissie into one of his games.

As soon as the door swung open, Sora let out an excited battlecry, jumped out at her, and pulled the trigger. A stream of water exploded outward from the gun in his hands, directing itself at Cissie with a little help from his aim. Playing laser tag on a daily basis gave Sora an armed advantage; for someone who was so used to wielding a weapon that he had to swing around physically, he wasn't too shabby at shooting things at people either.

Sora definitely had not been the bread that Cissie had been looking for. But, the way he saw it, he wasn't too shabby of an alternative.
