She understood that he was worried, she really did. But this was more than she'd expected. He didn't mean to keep drinking and as for the rest...the pain when he'd loosed his power on her like he'd never done before. He'd been out of his mind with the feel of the blood inside him, he'd lost control that was all it had been. He'd just lost control and she understood that. He pulled her hair from her eyes and she looked up, still with the same trust in her eyes that she'd had since they'd been together. That trust wasn't going anywhere. "I can worry if I like" she told him, holding his gaze. "I just want to make sure you're okay too. I know its going round and round in your head and I want you to know that this wasn't your fault" He had to realize that. He had to see that she wasn't scared of him. Maybe that was what this was. Maybe he actually thought that, well she'd have to dissuade him of that opinion however she could. "You know I love you right? That I don't blame you for this, that I'd never blame you for this and that you're not to blame. I told you that and you didn't answer. Don't think you can get away with that with me. I know you too well and I know when you're managing me. Tell me that you know that you're not to blame. And if you can't. I will work up the energy to punch you"
She meant it too, right in the face. He had to realize this was a stupid mistake. That's how this went. She sipped at the water calmly waiting for him to answer. If he didn't then she'd have a problem. She really hoped she didn't have to slap sense into him. That would be time consuming and tiring.
She nodded when he asked about the water "It's good" she said letting him tighten his grip around her, maybe she was a bit cold, she'd definitely admit to being cold if he'd hold her like this for the next while. She loved having him there, she just wished she could appreciate it more but if truth be told she was still a little woozy. "This is resting, lying here with you keeping me safe. Its the only resting I want to do, If I fall asleep you'll be here and I'll wake up feeling all better, you know that don't you? And once I am I want no more talk about blame. You have me here, I'm going to want you to take advantage of that before I go home" She'd sort out the blood afterward, give him enough to last him, discuss again with him if he was willing to take a life so he could drink. She handed him back the water and curled more into his grip closing her eyes and trying to relax, to rest like he'd told her to.
