Sam didn't even feel like Sam anymore. The blood was overpowering like that - it made him forget about everything around him, so much to the point that he got lost in the feel of Ruby's blood that he knew, cared, and wanted nothing else. Sam could feel it spreading through him, burning it's way through his entire body without him ever wanting for it to stop. Did Ruby have any idea how good this made him feel? Some days Sam wished that he had a constant source; that there was someone out there that he didn't have to care about or want to care about to do this to. A pathetic, good for nothing demon, being put to proper use for once in it's pitiful, disgusting existence. Not Ruby though - no, there was nothing disgusting about Ruby. From the way she tasted to how much Sam had grown to love her, there was nothing to be disgusted about when it came to her. Besides, she tasted so good. Sam's hold on her arm went impossibly tighter, that dark part of himself becoming possessive of Ruby all over again.
She wanted him to let go.
Sam could hear her telling him to do so. Her voice was gentle, perhaps even careful, but he could hear her. Unfortunately for her, the blood was speaking more loudly to him than Ruby herself was. It was begging him to take more and more. You're not finished yet, the blood urged, shoving itself down his throat gleefully. And it was right. He wasn't finished. He needed more to get by. He had not had enough. So in spite of Ruby asking him to stop, Sam bit down on her wrist even harder and kept on drinking her down. There was a lot of blood still left in her, wasn't there? Sam would take more. He'd take as much as he wanted, in fact, and no one could tell him otherwise. Sam didn't want to be thirsty anymore. He needed to drink more, that way he could feel good again. Strong. Powerful. Unstoppable. That's exactly what he was now, wasn't it? Ruby couldn't make him stop. She was his; Sam had every right to her and he was going to take as much of her as he wanted to. She was strong enough. She could handle it. It wasn't like he was hurting her or anything, was it? Ruby was fine.
