Where: Random parking lot

The car rental place must have been afraid of someone stealing the tires off the SUV. That was the only reason that Adam could think of for the bolt being on as tight as it was. Planting his feet, he grabbed one end of the tire iron and pulled backwards. The bolt held but his left foot began to slip on the wet pavement. Swearing under his breath, he leaned back towards the ground. The iron slipped barely an inch and didn't move again. Adam exhaled and released it, taking a step back.

"Stubborn bolt meet stubborn guy. I'm definitely going to be the one to win this," he murmured, shaking his hand out. There were easier ways to change this flat but his pride would be wounded by doing anything less than fixing it himself. So he found his grip again and pulled. "Come on, last bolt," he groaned, digging in again. This time, his ass nearly met the ground. "All right. You asked for it."

Standing up straight, he glanced over the hood of the car. "Hey!" he called, spotting someone nearby. "Would you mind giving me a hand with changing a tire?"
