Who: Victor and Mina What: Talking When: Some time after the sun sets so...uh...11ish? Where: Just outside the complex Warnings: Probably nothing worse than some cursing and probably some angst on Mina's part
So, he was here. Somehow Mina had managed to keep herself together about that fact. Being a typical British woman, she took her pain and sorrow and everything else Dracula's presence dragged up and shoved it all back inside, not allowing herself to show it. She always bore everything silently. Even when her son had died, she'd never let her friends see her grieve for him. Soon after that dark night, she'd lifted her chin and put a smile on her face. It was what she always did. She'd done it for the past century, and she would continue to do it for the rest of her existence. It was how she was, and she knew she'd never change.
After the light of the sun had finally disappeared, Mina left her apartment. She was grateful for the elevator, it made it easier to head downstairs. Once on the ground floor, she made her way to the front door, keeping her cane in front of her to guide her. She was mostly familiar with the halls of this building now where she knew where the furniture was, but one never knew when little obstacles would suddenly sprout up. She found her way out to a bench near the entrance. Mina closed her eyes for a minute, taking in the sounds of the night around her. She was a bit edgy from knowing Dracula was around. Though she was wondering if it was really the one from her world or not. She was smartly dressed in a pair of pants and shirt and her black leather trenchcoat. She had her gloved hands folded over the top of her cane, and of course she was wearing the protection amulet under her clothes. She wasn't one who wanted to risk getting possessed. She liked sitting outside, it gave her a sense of ease, though now that Dracula was lurking around here somewhere, she had a hard time relaxing, even when she was in her apartment. She knew if he wanted to, he could find a way to get to her, no matter what. He'd done so before, and Mina hated that feeling.
