It was a little while before she had to go out and ... do vigilante stuff. She really needed to come up with a better name than 'do vigilante stuff'. Her dork rep depended on it. Right now she was just running. She decided she needed a break from CNN. Sitting up just watching what was going on with the aftermath of the earthquake, likely wasn't doing good things for her peace of mind. Okay. It blatantly wasn't. Usually she would have just ignored her common sense - that she typically listened to for everything except things like that - but this time she had pushed off her chair, donned her winter running clothes and headed out the door.
She was jogging with her Zune, headphones in ear, careful to avoid the ice that might be on the side walk. Her mind was focused on a million other things. The need to do something to help with the after affects of the earthquake, not just in the giving money sense. About the business she and Andrew were considering opening up. Even, or especially, the apocalypse and how things were falling into a sort of relaxed lull.
Andrea didn't see where she was going and she collided hard into someone. However, her arm shot out in an attempt to keep the person and herself from falling. Luckily because they weren't on ice she succeeded. The benefits of having superhuman strength and reflexes
