Cocking an eyebrow at his 'mystical plants' she glanced at the book, half wondering what it was about. Giant man eating plants? How were plants mystical? She knew some were used in potions, but she'd never have classified them as mystical. It was, perhaps, better for her to leave the mystical plants to the witches. Or Giles. Taking off her jacket, she folded it over her arm and then sat down in the chair, slouching slightly as she pulled her eyes away from the books. "Planning on getting attacked by mystical plants who go after ice cream?" she suggested, before dropping the books things.
She only looked good because he arrived when he did. A few weeks ago and she had been a complete mess of blood and sliced up skin. Buffy wasn't bring that one up unless she had to. AKA, someone else told Giles and then she had to make with the excuses.
Speaking of ice cream, she half wondered what was coming first. The ice cream, or the less wanted talk of mystery. "Whats up, Giles?" she asked, not wanting to really avoid...whatever it is she could be avoiding. She honestly had to wonder what it was, because it could be any number of things, from something serious to not so serious, to Giles just wanted to get up to speed on the chaos that as the new reality. New rules meant new learning. Learning, not much fun after you'd already thought he had everything down flat. At least in her books.
