She'd been invited for ice cream, which meant some sort of talk was coming. Not that she minded, it had been almost a year since a good Giles talk. With all the stupid dramatic political crap going on lately Buffy was totally confused about how she was supposed to be doing her job. Run a fighting squad, but protect everyone. Protect kids who started drama. House vampires? Not everyone was Angel, not everyone was Spike. Anyone who expected her to think otherwise was insane. She was tired of everyone putting her into a situation where it was actually impossible to do anything right. It wasn't worth it.
The slayer had entered the ice cream place and then looked around for her watcher, hands tucked lazily into her jean pockets. Ice cream she could use, but now her mind was wondering with just what Giles might be bringing up to her, or why exactly he was that he wanted to talk about.
Looking around, she finally spotted him, and headed of toward him, a relax smile on her face. "Really?" she asked, arching an eyebrow at the books that were with him. "I know you love your books, but was carting the library really needed?" she teased, a smirk coming to her face.
