Some would say that Kendra needed to get a life. Same routine. Every night. When it was highly doubtful that there were any vampires left of the ones that Drusilla had created. If there were? They weren't dumb enough to stay around here. Thus basically there was nothing to find. She rarely lucked out in spotting a demon anymore. They had taken to being much more cautious around this area as well. Especially around the night time. Yet Kendra still patroled nearly every night.
Despite what some would say, this was her life. Or at least a major part of it. And it always would be. She would never tire of going out patroling. It was useful for the sole part that it was as familiar as she could find around here. It was an away from all the childish squabbling of the adults. All of the confusing moods and references of the teens. It was just peace, quiet, and the night.
She was walking when she heard a scuffle. Just making out the different tones of a male and female voice from the distance she was in. Running in the direction she heard the voices - because while it might not be a demon or a vampire, she couldn't in good conscious walk away - she paused when she saw the man knocked out.
Kendra quirked a brow. Nice. Then she looked back at the girl. Scrutinizing. She had seen her around before. Just because she didn't say anything did not mean that she did not pay attention to her surroundings. "Some place you shouldn't be alone." Was all she answered. What. She hadn't worked out social interactions quite yet and their finiteness. "Follow me and I'll show you how to get back to the complex."
