"See, this is why I like you," Stephanie started, smiling as she leaned forward on the counter, propped up on her elbows. "I've told you about some of my screw ups and you don't hold them against me." Pretty much everyone else did, actually. At least the people from her world did. It took her forever to get anyone to actually feel like she was worthy of the whole Batgirl name. Okay. Maybe not forever, but she was sure that it took longer for her to be accepted by the other Bats than Cass or Babs. Sure, she screwed up a hell of a lot before becoming Batgirl, but Steph was sure that she'd paid for all of them. Besides. She wasn't the only Batgirl that had stupid crap under her belt. "That's part of why, at least."
Alright. He had her there. "I'm a girl talking to a cute guy," Stephanie said with a bit of a shrug as she watched Ron. She wasn't going to deny the fact that she was, in fact, bashful and blushing, there was no point. Especially since that would be a lie. She could feel how hot her face was. "It's kinda expected that I would be bashful here, especially since I'm not one of those girls that can go around flirting with anyone and everyone without even batting an eye. In a non-planned-out-flirty-way, I mean."
