It was definitely a nice feeling, knowing that he had someone else to look out for around here. Ron was so uncomfortable with the way that the system worked. He'd have one friend in one second, the next they'd be pulled away or would go missing into the city. Merlin, Harry was still out there, wasn't he? Ron half wondered if he decided to make a run for it as far away from all the insanity as possible. Maybe he was off selling donuts under the name Stan Shunpike or something as equally as ridiculous. The thought brought a grin to Ron's face, even though he hadn't vocally expressed the idea to Stephanie. She probably thought he was mad for smiling out of the blue like that, but he didn't care. It was better than standing about thinking that Harry had gotten eaten alive by spiders or demons. Did demons eat people? Ron made a note to post about it later on the boards. Someone with more experience could answer that one for him, surely.
"Good." Ron paused, scrunching his face up in a frown. "I mean, good. That you're wearing it to drive off those lunatics." Ron shuffled awkwardly from one foot to the other, forcing himself to look down once again. His blue eyes found the comic book that Steph had been reading before he'd arrived and Ron, on instinct, reached out and flipped it to the side, taking in the cover. Ron was almost one hundred percent sure that the drawing was of someone that he knew. Someone that was standing right in front of him, in fact. Brows rising, he dragged the comic across the counter and leaned forward to examine it. "The pictures should move," he mumbled quietly, right before he passed it back to Steph. "Why are you reading about yourself?"
Like Ron could talk. He spent some of his free time browsing the internet. Mostly the Ron fangirls caught his eye, but sometimes he went around other places as well. For the laughs, of course.
