This was priceless. Castiel's whole demeanor just screamed 'new to this' and much as it was a lot of fun to taunt him about it she'd promised to show the angel how to sin. And in this town that started with only one thing. "He'll have a whiskey please, in fact make that two. Doubles, and keep em coming" she translated from angel-speak. All the while aware getting the angel drunk was probably a crazy plan but needing the break from that same arguement with Sam. The one that started and ended with Azazel. Maybe later she'd ask Castiel how to fix that. How to switch off that loyalty in her head so she'd stop hurting Sam every time she mentioned her old life. It wasn't like she even wanted to go back to it.
She decided to focus her attentions for now on this city, the pub they'd found themselves in, and the angel wanting to experiance being drunk. It was quite the mix. She knew logic (and Sam) said she should run from the hills and not help the guy out but something in her demanded she try, maybe it was that enjoyed the risk, or maybe Castiel was her opposite number, because she really did believe heaven were as bad as hell. Twisting their soldiers in different ways to hell but still twisting them all the same. And maybe he could do with a break from all that. Maybe she'd find him some pretty Irish girl and let him go have some fun for the night. There was a whole world out there he'd yet to experiance. And that world would start with a double Irish Whiskey.
Ruby started a tab planning to pay with one of Sam's forged credit cards, more sin for the angel to get used to of course. But hopefully by the time she was caught out on that little scam they'd be back in the states and Castiel would be nursing the mother of all hangovers.
"You're meant to sip whiskey logicly, but I think you should just drink it down. One gulp...relish the burn of it. We'll sip the next round once we get somewhere to sit."
Sam would be so confused as to why she was doing all this. Ruby for her part still wasn't sure. But that didn't make it any less real. She was sitting in a pub in Dublin Ireland with an angel trying to convince him to drink down a double measure of Irish Whiskey. And found herself oddly proud of her temptation skills. She still had it.
