There was a whole lot of drama going on here lately, and Clary was well aware that Needy was getting shit on for standing up for her. She hadn't really needed anyone to stand up for her, and Clary was well aware it wasn't just her that had caused Needy to get angry. But still, it had started with her. So she was in the lobby with her charcoal, painting. The lobby was quiet, other than people coming in and out, it was never really used. Sometimes she had defensive classes here when the gym wasn't big enough, but other than that, the space was pretty empty, and so it was perfect.

Clary worked a part time job at an art store, which as nice because she got a discount. Still, she didn't have a lot of money, so buying something to say thanks was out of the picture. So she'd draw something instead. A self portrait, but a different one, not something normal, or obvious.

She'd parked herself up against the wall to the right, the door to the medical bay downstairs just a few feet to her right. It had been pretty quiet so far, the only person she'd seen had been that new girl, Kitty, who had literally appeared one second, and then vanished through the wall a second later. With her paints, she also had her laptop, iTunes opened, her playlist on random. At the moment it was playing 'Starlight' by Muse. It wasn't loud, but if one stepped into the main entrance you'd easily hear it. Picking up another piece of charcoal, she bent over her picture and gently continued with her work, blocking out the drama for the past few days and letting it go with each movement of her charcoal.
