"It's actually the first date I've had since I arrived in Lawrence," Damien confessed. Though he did have others.. before. That was pretty much public knowledge, he'd spoken a bit about it on the boards once or twice, as well as a couple tidbits about being at Yale or learning things at the military academy for six years. "It is a great date tonight so far." He smiled then as well, realizing that saying that certain word wasn't so awkward. He laughed and said as his fingers lightly moved on her shoulder, "Glad we finally got that out of the way. I don't know why it took so long for me to speak that word. Were you feeling hesitant about saying it too? You know.. that word. Date, date, date, date, date, date." There was a twinkle in his eye at that. Seemed he was once again sharing his sense of humor.
With another laugh, he then turned serious and stared into her eyes as he stood closer to her. "You can definitely say so, Prue. As often as you want to say it. You're also very pretty and fun to be with. But then... you're Prue, so that's to be expected of course. It's fortunate that we both move well enough on our feet here." Another compliment. He didn't mind giving those. Receiving was great, but he could give praise as well. Besides, they were nice words to say. And they were true. "So, what's your favorite drink? I think I'd like to buy you one.. if you're thirsty for it."
