Her eyes couldn't move away from him no matter how often she told herself to look away. She wanted this over with right now, wanted to call him her husband now and not in however long it took this ceremony to finish. Licking her lips, she smiled a little when she vaguely heard the Priest say something about vows. Wait, when did they get that far on? Looking to Father Carter, she tried to compose herself before looking to Robin. Had she really been that focused on his eyes that she hadn't heard a single word that man had said, or any of the things she had to do? Had she just done them automatically but taken no notice?
Robin's eyes always did do that to her.
She smiled as Robin began to say his vows, taking a deep breath as she tried to stop the tears she felt surfacing. She couldn't cry, it was a stupid thing to do. And Morgana would hurt her if she ruined the delicate make up on her face. But the moment she heard 'I, Robin, take you,' she knew she wouldn't be able to stop herself. Then it was her turn and she nodded at Father Carter so he knew she was ready. With every word she said she could hear her voice crack slightly, tipping her head back with a small laugh as she tried to push back the tears. Then she had finished what she had to say and she had never felt happier in her life. This was how it was meant to be and looking at Robin, knowing he was hers and hers alone in the eyes of the law and God was the best feel ever.
But it was yet to be announced, and she was yet to have a ring on her finger. So she took another deep breath, giving Robin a grin as she awaited her next instruction.
