Robin laughed. "You've got that right." Besides the amount of time it had taken to get here, as well as how very much he was looking forward to being able to refer to Marian as his wife without any confusion, that they were trying for a family made him want to get this done, too. The future he dreamt of might have shifted from Locksley Manor to an apartment complex, but it still consisted of Marian at his side and their children around them, and this was a major step toward that.
But, he was getting ahead of himself. First, they had to have the wedding. As he and Much joined Father Carter at the door, he stopped to give his friend a hug. "I'm very glad you're here." Three weeks ago, he had wondered at whether he would be comfortable with this situation; however, all of that was behind them now, and he could not think of anyone else he would want standing beside him. Much was not just the most loyal of friends, he was family.
