Dean noticed the softening of her features and he gave her one of his best grins, though he knew better than to approach her. He wasn't going to insult her intelligence and assume that just because she'd soften that he was completely off the hook.
"I promise." He said and meant it. He .. he really wanted this to work. Dean actually and truly did, and he wasn't ... sometimes he just didn't remember things because he wasn't used to them.
