Stephanie dumped a second scoop of ground coffee into the filter before turning to take the glass from Ron, a grin on her face as she did so. "Thanks," she said simply, taking a sip and setting the glass aside. "My mom works nights at the hospital so if I wanted to eat before going out for the night I kinda had to learn how to cook for myself." That didn't mean that she was anything even remotely close to any sort of gourmet chef, but she was at least decent.
"But hey, good to know you're not picky." With that she poured a coffee pot full of water into the coffee maker and flipped the switch. The delicious goodness that kept her going would be ready in a few minutes. But when Ron asked her how she slept she sort of shrugged a bit and took another sip of her orange juice before quickly moving to take the third waffle out of the iron. "I slept fine, actually. That's one plus side about this place. I get in my eight hours of sleep more often here than I usually do back home. What about you?" Stephanie wouldn't have been surprised if someone told her she kicked in her sleep. She spent loads of time kicking people anyway, it almost made sense that it would become something she did in her sleep as well. But at least with her the fact that she didn't get full nights of sleep back home sort of worked in her favor. It made her able to fall asleep at the drop of a hat, pretty much, and she slept deep, too. Noises and stuff rarely woke her up.
