Andrew nodded at James' words, his smile going bashful again as he looked away and took his gift from the wizard once it was offered once more. "You can, uh. Do it again sometime. You know. If you want to." His eyes were still on the golden paper as he spoke, hands toying with one of the taped down edges a bit.
But he figured it was time he opened his gift already. He carefully peeled back the paper, taking his time because he had this weird hope that the longer he took to open his gift the longer it would take before James realized that Andrew sounded like a complete moron whenever he talked to the wizard. He didn't want to sound like a moron with him, but he really couldn't help it.
Once he got rid of the paper and popped open the box his smile brightened. Peering up at him from inside was Yoda, and that would have been great in itself but when he pulled the little green guy out of the box he found it was, in fact, a backpack made to look like Yoda was riding on the back of whoever wore it. Clearly James knew what Andrew liked, because he loved the backpack. And while most guys probably wouldn't want to be caught dead wearing something like that, even if they really liked it, Andrew really did plan on putting it to good use. "This is great!" he said honestly, and happily as he looked over at James once more.
