"You sure? Because you seem ready for bed," Andrew asked, a bashful smile tugging at the corners of his lips. But even though he was asking he was still stepping into the apartment. Having never been to James' apartment before, Andrew couldn't help looking around, grinning a bit more at the place. It was laid out like his own apartment, of course, all the standard rooms were laid out the same way, but it was the personal touches that each person brought in that made them different. And considering James wasn't the nerd that Andrew was, their apartments ended looking considerably different in the end.
Andrew liked James. He really did. James was completely different from most of he people that Andrew knew and, Andrew wouldn't say this out loud to someone with an ego like James had, he hadn't been able to find too many faults in him yet. Granted, there was a good chance it was because Andrew hadn't really spent all that much time with him yet, not when compared to how much time he'd spent with other people that he knew, but still. That was beside the point.
"The paper's not the important part," Andrew said with a shrug before turning to look at James again, this time with much more composure than he had when James opened the door. Didn't make him stop looking bashful though. "You didn't have to get me anything though. But I'm sure I'll like whatever it is."
