Xander had been rifling around through the shelves in search of something salty and delicious to munch on when Tara entered the kitchen. He poked his head out of the cabinet, a grin dashing across his face the second he spotted her. "Heya, Tara," Xander began, dragging a bag of potato chips out from the shelf. "Whatcha been up to? Huh, huh, huh? Where the heck have you been lately? What are you doing now? Want some chips? You know you want some chips." He was saying a million things at once and Xander didn't care. He always get excited when Tara came around. Not in a sexually exited way or anything because, you know, it was Tara. More like in a "yay, my friend is no longer dead and I am happy to see her!" type of way. It was definitely that, especially since the point in time that Xander had brought in from was right after Tara had been shot to death by Warren.
It was a surprise to see her up and about so late, but Xander was still more than pleased that he ended up running into her rather than someone annoying. Like Andrew. Or Spike. Or both of them at the same time. Xander hopped up onto the counter and sat down, legs swinging back and forth as he popped the bag of chips open and stuck one of his hands in to grab a handful. "And, hey, random question: how do you feel about Mars? Because I had this weird dream and...like, it wasn't one of those trippy Slayer dreams that Buffy has, but it felt kinda real. And it was about Mars." And Marvin the Martian. Which confused Xander, because Bugs had always been his favorite. Go figure.
