She bent her knees as she landed, one hand going to the ground to steady herself, her eyes watching his every moment. Stealing. Well. It wasn't the best thing but it really it could be worse. A lot worse. Not that she thought Spike went around killing people for fun. However, on a scale from one to ten - if one had to scale things and put value on stuff and didn't think that every crime was the same level of wrong and yada, yada, yada - stealing from a pawn shop, that couldn't even bother with a good enough lock? That was maybe a two. A two and a half. They really should have invested on a better lock. Not that that meant they deserved to be stolen from. But really. Come on. What did you expect. A little common sense never made life more difficult. No. It made life easier. Her life easier.
Andrea pushed the door open without a word. Relieved that it didn't make any of those jingling noises. She took a few steps when something caught her eye. Ooo. Pretty purse. Yes, yes. She was on the job. But it was pretty. If Andrea were to have a vice that might end up being her downfall, it would be gluttony. If one could be a glutton for things one didn't eat. Because she sure over-indulged on her shoes and purses. It wasn't about getting money, it wasn't exactly greed -- though it did touch on it. It was about lots and lots of shoes. And purses. And cute things to wear with them. But mostly about the shoes.
Shoes that were not only worn but over-priced. Were these people being serious? Was this some kind of joke? They really weren't helping their cause in her not just turning around and pretending like she hadn't seen a thing. Not that she would really do that.
That thing that she had? Called a conscious. Yeah. It would bother her non stop until she dealt with Spike. No way she could just turn around. So with a sigh, she went looking for him. She didn't have to go very far.
"Hmm. Early Christmas shopping? You know. I don't like cheap, knocked off, and used. You would have better luck at least robbing a Macy's. And I'm pretty sure Buffy and Dawn are pretty picky about their jewelry too."
