Robin's eyes drifted to her mouth as her tongue darted out, his eyebrow quirking, before meeting her gaze again. She had been in a playful mood all evening; he still could hardly believe how that phone conversation had gone earlier, and had been worried afterward that she might be embarrassed. Instead, it seemed to have brought out a whole new side of her. Lord knew, he would never have expected that-- not that he was complaining. The corner of his mouth kicked up as he replied, "Very tasty."
He reached over and took her left hand, running his thumb over her fingers. "I'm glad you agreed to this over pizza and The Tudors," he grinned. He started to play with the ring she wore-- the engagement ring she had purchased for herself. It was pretty, and he was touched that she had thought of that when she found herself alone here. But still, she should be wearing a ring he gave her. Slowly, he slid it off her finger, and tucked it into his pocket.
