Buffy blinked at him, she got why he was asking, but she didn't get why he was so concerned about it. It was just a fact of who she was, what she was really. She shrugged, not appearing concerned in anyway. "Yeah, he does. It's not like I ever wake screaming or anything. Usually I pass back out, but sometimes I just end up more away." like this time, for example, she was just a bit more awake. "I sleep better than he does." she said quietly, knowing that Sam had to be aware of the nightmares Dean had. It hadn't taken Buffy long to figure out what it was that had been interrupting his sleep like that.
A small smile came across her face as her arms cross over her stomach. "It is casual. If I freaked out over and thought too much about every time I did die, or almost died, I'd drive myself crazy. It almost happened, but it didn't. We got the demon, time to move on." it wasn't a big deal, it wasn't like the fire had actually managed to get close enough to burn her. It had been hot, but she and Willow had both managed, with the help of Giles...and Cordelia of all people. "Yeah, they really are." she said, agreeing with Sam. The people around here were completely unbelievable, and not just because some of them were 'fiction.' "I just need the Christian Bale Batman to show up." just so she can fangirl, and then drool just to make Dean jealous.
"Any special demons?" she asked, becoming a bit more serious. "A white eyed bitch maybe?" she asked, tilting her head. "You'll get her. You kinda have to." she pointed out, before adding with a half smile. "No pressure or anything." she understood pressure. She'd never been in Sam's situation exactly, but yeah, she got the 'you have to do this' speech a lot.
