Powerful. Yeah, that wasn't really the way that Sam would have felt about something like that floating around in his mind all the time. Creepy was more like it. Definitely creepy. "Does Dean know? About all that stuff, I mean." It felt like something that Dean should have known. Given that they were together - at least, Sam was pretty sure that they were together - Sam would have liked to think that Dean knew about this sort of stuff when it happened. Kind of like Sam was pretty sure that if Buffy slept anywhere near his brother, she would have been aware of the fact that he had nightmares about Hell quite often. The way it sounded, between her dreams of those past Slayers and his dreams of his time on the rack, Sam wondered how they got any sleep to begin with. Especially when they were around each other. He furrowed his brow in concern, then looked down at the drink in his hands. Maybe it wasn't any of his business. Didn't stop him from worrying about them either way. Sam was a worrier. It was in his blood...among other things.
"I just love how casual that all sounded," Sam said, smiling lightly. "Almost been killed that way before. But it's all good, really." He waved a hand in the air, as if it didn't matter, then smiled a bit more. "The people around here are really somethin' else, huh?" Just when he started to get used to it, someone mentioned how they fought off zombies or how many times they died and Sam couldn't help but feel completely dumbfounded all over again. He shook his head, lifted the bottle to his lips once more, and took back a few swallows before he decided to speak again.
"Me? I just...I've been thinking about stuff." Sam shrugged. "The usual. Trying to figure things out. Can't get a grip on much of anything these days though." He set his beer aside and folded his arms over his chest with another shrug. "Not even demons." Or a demon. Just the one, with her haunting white eyes and shrill, girly laugh. A laugh like that shouldn't have been wrong, but it was. She had a way of making everything wrong. Sam's expression darkened slightly at the thought.
