He'd worry about getting one of those amulets in the next couple of days. At the moment, there were other things he needed to focus on. Holding up a finger, he headed over to the counter and grabbed two menus off the stack. He set one in front of Eve and sat down in the seat across from her, flipping his open. "For starters, breakfast twenty four hours a day," he quipped, as if that was the selling point for the place.
The waitress was busy with a couple of guys at the counter but he kept an eye on her. Not that he cared what she would think if she overheard them talking but he didn't feel like getting the weird looks for the rest of the meal. Resting his arms on the table, he leaned forward to talk.
"I've heard she's the one responsible for us being here. She broke one of the seals and it turned out the toy surprise was people keep appearing here from just about anywhere you can think of. She's trying to set Lucifer free to walk the earth," he said, keeping his voice low. "She'd get along well with the Senior Partners."
