Who: Doyle and OPEN. What: Doyle has a cold. He's gonna sneeze and accidentally show his DEMON FACE. Who wants to see it? When: Late morning, December 13th. Where: The community kitchen in the complex. Warnings: Probably nothing but language.
If there was one person in Lawrence that didn't want to get sick, it was Doyle. Seriously. It wasn't the feeling crappy part that bothered him, he tended to look at that as feeling better than he did when he was in the middle of a vision, so he could handle the cold in that way, especially with a nice dose of cold medicine. The thing that he didn't like was the fact that he couldn't sneeze in front of people. Or do anything else that might accidentally make his demon face show. Sure, there were plenty of people around who might not freak out or anything, but really it was just something he wanted to keep to himself. There was no telling who's opinions would change if they found that out.
But there was just one problem. He was out of DayQuill. So, he waited until late in the morning before creeping down to the kitchen, after most people would have eaten breakfast. The less people he saw the less chances of accidentally sneezing in front of them, after all. And when he made it into the large kitchen Doyle let out a sigh of relief at the sight of being absolutely alone in there.
"Thank God," he muttered under his breath as he made his way to the cabinets. Now for the hard part, finding some medicine and getting back up to his room without giving away anything to people. Sure, he could have gone to the medical floor, but then he'd have to answer questions and spend way too much time there. And maybe have to get a check up or something. That was just a no. No one needed to go around poking and prodding at him, not when he was only half human.
Thankfully, he found a box of DayQuill at the back of one of the cabinets. With a small cry of joy he snatched it up and started to turn around to go when he was interrupted mid-turn with a rather large sneeze. His face turned green and got much bigger, eyes went red, and loads of blue spikes shot out of the flesh on his face and neck.
