===================================
Damien Thorn had been pretty much avoiding everyone since things had reset from the false memories. It wasn't as strong, but he still could remember things, and there was possibly a dream or two. He had been to the classes but didn't really talk all that much. And he did read the boards, of course.. just didn't feel like replying or contributing anything. Two people to add to a list of uninvited as far as the complex went. He was fine with that. Definitely fine, considering one was a vampire, and he didn't have such a good time with the last one who met him. After waking up early, he had made his way down to the kitchen. He had been feeling rather hungry now. Food would do him some good before going to the gym again nearby in the apartment. So he fixed himself a bowl of cereal, poured the milk, and cooked some butter toast on the side. Once it was ready, he sat at the table there in the kitchen and began to eat. His wallet was set beside the bowl.
As he absently ate, he opened it and let out a light sigh, grumbling under his breath. There was not a recent baby picture. Nor any photos of his brother or sisters. But he knew he had them there. But not now. Just the old one of his cousin, and a dated photo of his sergeant in a uniform from years ago. Yeah.. right, of course, none of it was real. The memories at least. But the ghosts had to be, and the job too. And.. Prue. He remembered that as well. Damien just hadn't mentioned it to anyone. Mostly because it was actually a secret, even in their fabricated lives, but also because it wasn't something he'd brag about. It had definitely been fun. It was just the fact of the afterward part that made things just a tad awkward.. actually, a lot. He'd seen the reactions on the boards when someone else bragged about exploits. And he wasn't the type to do that anyway, he valued privacy. But the main reason was because he still felt a bit awkward about it, much like the memories where he was a potential father and... no. He definitely would never bring up that part. Like, ever. It was something that he had put out of his mind, or repressed deep in his subconscious when everyone sort of.. 'woke up', one would say. Sighing again, with a yawn, he finished the last few bites from his bowl and downed the milk to finish it off...
