"I'm not sanctioning anything." Dean snapped, lightly. His tone fought to be relaxed, casual, but there was that obvious decided edge to it that still managed to come around at times when involving Ruby. Especially when he reminded himself or was reminded of the fact that he was basically supporting it. He wouldn't say that he liked it, but he acknowledged it. That Ruby was something for Sam. Important. That apparently it was mutual. Hell, he'd just recently used it against Ruby. It was almost as good as accepting it wasn't it? He knew the answer to that though he didn't want to admit to it.
And he didn't trust her. Probably never would but he was trusting a demon with his brother. Sam's life ... heart. Everything. Trusting her - sort of - with these people. He certainly was tolerating her. So hey? Why not go the whole nine yards.
Dean was disgusted with himself but at the same time a part of him, his memory, struck up Ruby Townsend. A fake memory caused by Zach but that memory led .. served as a sort of whisper in his mind that told him that Ruby was working hard on proving herself. Why not give her a chance?
Because she was a demon managed to slam that voice down yet Dean was still left with a bit of an uneasiness with himself.
Thanks, Cas. Because he certainly needed more of that in his life.
[ooc: jog the mun's memory because she does not remember this talk suppose actually watching the eps and watching them in order would help ... dang season 4!]
