Cas wanted to talk. Dean was pretty sure that this wasn't going to be anything he wanted to talk about. He liked the angel alright. In fact, he had sort of grown on Dean even though he hadn't been around for quite some time now. Nevertheless, Cas' talk reminded Dean of being sent to a principle, talking to your dentist about cavaties, and the time that some chick had told back when he'd been thirteen told him she wanted more mature and older men ... A ninth grader. All completely unpleasent times for Dean. And while the first could be very amusing for someone like Dean who made part of his existance on cracking jokes during inappropriate moments. There is only so much even he would be able to do with this particular conversation.
He had been expecting a talk. However, he still managed to be a bit surprised when he saw Cas leaning against his care. As highly trained and good of a hunter Dean was. He was still human, as driven and predatory as the hunter mindset could be, and he still became surprised. He should have expected Cas would do something weird. He always did. Always surprising Dean with something or the other. The angel leaning against his car with a backpack by his foot was 'or the other'.
"Hey." Dean said. Stilling the movement of his hands. He'd been moving his key to the door. He had been on his way to get more beer for Bobby's. He debated suggesting Cas ride with him. However, he didn't fancy being stuck in a car with the angel. Any angel. Even if it was Cas. And the car was his baby.
