WHO: Sam & Ruby. WHAT: Sam is not amused. WHEN: Evening. WHERE: Ruby's apartment. RATING: G FOR GIANT IS GONNA JUMP ON YOU.
When Sam got to Ruby's place, he didn't knock. Instead, he grabbed the spare key that had been made for his own use, moodily jammed it into the lock, and pushed the door open. Key sliding into the back pocket of his jeans, Sam nudged the door shut behind him with his shoulder. He made sure that the door was locked before he ventured forward, eyes warily scanning the apartment area for the tiny, dark-haired demon that had been causing such an unbelievable amount of trouble. That was why he was here right now. It was likely that he would have come out to see Ruby anyway, given that they had been forced to live crazy, alternate lives over the past while, but he was here for more than just a concerned visit now. No, Sam was pissed off. He was furious, he was stressed, and he was fully prepared to give Ruby the lecture of a lifetime. Why? Because she had threatened to do something with black magic; something that had turned into less of a casual, snarky comment (something that Sam was used to), and more into a situation that could have easily resulted in people getting the wrong idea and lynching Ruby to death as a result. Not that Sam could actually blame Lois for having gotten the wrong idea. From what little Sam had been able to read on the boards, Ruby had been acting a more than insane. Sam had a few ideas as to why that was, but it didn't make her behavior any less inappropriate than it was. She might have been able to get away with that hexing her allies thing with her demon buddies, but that wasn't how things worked around here and Sam was pretty more than sure that she was aware of that.
So, he shrugged off his jacket irritably and tossed it onto the couch, then began to roll his sleeves up as he ventured forward into the kitchen. He didn't know where Ruby was now, but Sam was sure that she was nearby. They had agreed to talk here. Considering how short he had been with her during their brief chat, he knew that she wasn't going to risk going off and doing something stupid to piss him off even more. Not while she was questioning the stability of their relationship she wasn't. So, Sam stomped into the kitchen, dug up a trash bag, and began to pile the stock of ingredients that she had tucked away in the cabinets into the bag angrily. He didn't care if they broke or spilled or whatever. Sam was so furious about how far gone the situation was - and especially how far it could have gotten - that a few broken magic knick-knacks and screwed up bags of herb or whatever the fuck it was that Ruby used to cast her spells didn't even phase him. Good riddance. She didn't need it now anyway.
Sam didn't bother calling out for her. He knew she was here. And judging from the amount of noise that he was making, Sam also knew that she was aware of his presence as well.
