"Yes but you also need to know when to stop." She was the last person to be lecturing on knowing when to stop, she was as stubborn as they come, but didn't mean it wasn't good advice all the same. They were wasting time though, and she got the feeling he would only stop if it suited him. Might as well make the most of this 'date.'
"Sell yourself to me then. I don't know much about you, and you've got one date to keep me interested." She wasn't sure what to make of him because the longer he was around, the more she felt like there was so much she was forgetting. Shane hardly knew him, so why did it feel like she should? He set her a little on edge, and even looking at him -- She could have sworn he was older, or looked different. "Or if you've any questions for me, now is the time to ask."
In the meantime, Shane wondered absently if he had the strange sort of feelings that she did. If maybe that helped explain his persistent interest. Not that she had any intention of asking because how weird would it sound to ask 'are you sure I don't know you better from somewhere?'
