Shane eventually folded the menu, and set it down in front of her. The grill wasn't all that interesting, instead she watched Harold - Trying to figure out what to make of him. He didn't seem all that bad. He was awfully presumptuous; hitting on her, leaving the flowers, assuming she would just go along with it if he got them a table. Which normally she didn't mind so much, but he always just rubbed her the wrong way. Not to mention, they hardly knew each other. Why be so insistent when she clearly disliked him? It's not like he wasn't good looking (not that she thought so, just a general observation of course...) enough to find a girl who liked him.
"You clean up well, I'll give you that. So why not go after someone who is interested? I can't count how many times I've told you no." Shane wasn't the sort to beat around the bush, and she was curious why he just kept coming back.
