"Agreed. If you can stop something with table salt, it's really not that big a threat." Merlin just had the memories/dreams of dragons, huge monsters, people with magic, and lord knows what else he'd dream of next. Ghosts felt like small change.
"I'll see you up there. Oh, and grab some drinks if you see anything. I've got snacks plenty of snacks, but forgot something to wash it down with." Merlin put the volume of his music back up, and went back to the cleaning a bit quicker then he had been. He would just work his way up to the top floor, and thankfully there wasn't a whole lot to slow him down. A few odd messes, things crushed like they'd been hit with a sledgehammer, then the usual food and drinks left out, bins all but overflowing...Things also seemed to be falling over a bit more then usual. A couple trash bins, and papers toppled over if he focused on them too long, but the buzz he'd already had helped make him overlook that.
Eventually he got upstairs. To one of the bigger offices of a man he knew would be in later in the morning then everyone else, and wouldn't notice any lingering smell. Merlin propped open most of the windows, pushed some of the furniture aside to allow plenty of floor space, and dumped some of the contents of his backpack on a little table while he waited for Harold. Oh! And the music. Music with lighted speakers that played plenty loud, and switched to the show tunes playlist.
