Who: Amanda & Methos When: Backdated to her arrival and before the plot Where: Internet cafe' and then most likely a four star hotel Status: In Progress
Amanda was grateful for two things: the fact that she'd had her sword when she was suddenly 'brought' here somehow, and her skills. By the time she'd gotten to the strange little internet cafe', she had more then enough money from pickpocketing to book a few nights at a four or five star hotel. Sure, Duncan's voice ran through her mind, scolding her and telling her she could easily find a job and earn money honestly, but she told the voice that she needed something a bit more immediate than that. After she got off the strange computer and message board someone had been kind enough to tell her about, she went outside to wait next to the window for Methos-or 'Richard'-to show. She really wanted to know just what the hell was going on, and she was counting on him to deliver a decent explanation.
Absently she ran a hand through her platinum blond hair, making sure it wasn't too tousseled as she studied the passersby. She didn't think she'd ever been to Kansas before, because honestly, what was there in Kansas except farms and the like? She'd long since had her fill of farms and dust and all that-the only thing she really still liked from that was horses. More specifically, racehorses. She missed the one she'd sold a couple years ago thanks to a soft spot she had that Duncan had used-and, yes, she had admired him all the more for it. He could be so devious when he wanted to.
Speaking of deviousness, her thoughts drifted to Methos. She hadn't seen him in several months and she wondered how he'd been. Her head tilted a little when she felt the familiar presence of another Immortal, and she glanced around to see which direction he'd be coming from.
