Ron was a bit jealous, actually. They didn't have any computers downstairs to play on when things got slow or boring. He had his cellphone, of course, but it wasn't one of those fun devices where you could actually do things that were distracting on them. He was really hoping to earn enough cash to buy an iPhone while he was here. Something snazzy like that. Then he could download all sorts of apps. In fact, Ron was hoping to get the zombie shootout one. It seemed fun. "We've got meetings downstairs too. Mostly just proper mail etiquette and all that rubbish. They want to make sure that everyone doesn't screw up on the job. Happens every month or so." Ron stretched a bit on the spot, glancing over his shoulder quietly as he did so. "The, er, meetings. Not the screwing up. That actually happens on a daily basis." He looked back at Steph, grinning at that.
"Brilliant. Deal." He pushed his fingers through his hair and nodded. "Besides, if you're gonna go on a cruise like that, you're going to want to bring someone entertaining. I'd like to think that I'm very entertaining. So long as there's a good pile of food about to keep me satisfied, then we're good." He could only imagine. A cruise with an all you can eat buffet just laid out for whenever he wanted to chow down. God, that sounded so good right about now.
In all likelihood, Ron was going to end up fantasizing about himself going on a cruise after this encounter. A cruise with Pretty Girl in a bathing suit and lots and lots of food. Best. Vacation. Ever.
