Stephanie chuckled a bit, even though really Adorable Guy hadn't said anything particularly funny. It was a nervous thing. Ollie would have probably called it a giggle, but Stephanie would refuse that until the day she died. Which, hopefully, wouldn't be any time soon. "It's alright," she said, grinning at him. "I mean, sometimes it's really busy, then every once in a while we have really slow days, so I guess it balances out. Then there are days like today where I'm probably just going to be filling out papers until it's time to leave." Oh crap. She was babbling. She really should stop.
Stephanie reached up to tuck her hair behind her ear again before taking the letter from him. "Hopefully, it's not more work," She said with a slight shrug, the grin never really faltering. "They just gave me a pile so maybe I've just won a cruise to Aruba or something. That would be neat." Hey, a girl could hope. Just like a girl could talk to an Adorable Guy when her big brother wasn't around.
