She didn't like how he felt. He could tell that right off, she was hardly hiding the emotion from him much as she might have been trying to. With the twin bond though there was so little Jaina could actually hide from Jacen. Even if he had changed beyond her recognition. She could sense the power he'd gained. Beyond even Luke, beyond her. She'd beaten him with Mandolorian skill she hadn't learned yet, force tricks she'd gotten Luke to teach her. And even at that. He could have taken her with him into death if he'd been truly malevolent. But he'd loved her too much to end her life because she'd been doing what she thought she needed to.
He watched as she stood up, looked up at him and cracked a silly joke about being the older twin. Nothing on any of his jokes. He looked down into the grass, eyes catching the insects as hers had earlier. He did miss his connection to animals, to nature. He'd lost that empathy. And it had been Wedge Antilles who'd noticed.
"Is that what we're here to do. Pretend like this is normal. Come on Jaina. I might have changed but I still know you like no one else in any galaxy. Do you want me to shut down my Force Presence. Might make it easier for us to talk if I don't feel so wrong to you all the time"
