Robin tossed back a bit more of his beer as he considered Much's words. He was not sure how much reading into their story his friend had done, but there was no mention of an Archer or a Kate. Not that it meant anything, really, since so many of the stories got everything wrong for the rest of them; but it did concern him that these people whom supposedly came to be important to him had faded from history. However, he could hardly say that. With a smile and a small nod, he said, "I'm sure that's what they did."
Seeing an opening for part of the discussion he wanted to have, Robin's smile faded, and he looked down at where he began picking at the label on his bottle. "Speaking of dealing with people, I want to talk to you about Marian, and what's going on between you two." He glanced back up at Much. "I know it started when she was upset, but it hasn't gotten better. And it needs to. I should be excited about finally getting to marry the woman that I love-- when one or both of us is not on the verge of dying,-- but instead, I'm torn between her arguing with my best friend."
