Who: Robin, Much, and OPEN if anybody wants to stop by When: evening of November 21st Where: a nearby pub What: a drink and a chat, and who knows, maybe some shenanigans Rating: low Status: complete
Robin handed Much one of the bottles of lager he had just received from the bartender, and gestured toward the available tables. He was glad they were finally getting this opportunity to just sit down, the two of them. There had been a period of time when he had avoided things like this, not wanting to talk with his friend, since he knew what Much would want to discuss-- and he had no desire to ponder those topics. Their time in the Crusades still came back to haunt his dreams once in awhile, which was more than enough remembrance for him. And it had been difficult enough to maintain his spirits for the good of the gang when they were in the forest; verbally picking the situation apart would have been devastating. Briefly, he had tried to explain this to Much on his birthday last yea-- not last year, but on his last normal birthday.
"Normal" being a subjective descriptor, since most people did not consider being trapped in a barn, surrounded by mercenaries, a normal birthday celebration.
But, that was in the past, and anything Much might want to talk about from after Robin had been brought here would not have the potential to hurt that his memories held. Also, it would be nice to hear his thoughts on 2009, now that he had had time to settle in.
And, whilst they were at it, Robin hoped to find out what Much's feelings on Marian were at the moment. They were hoping to have their wedding near Christmas, which was only a month or so away, and he wanted to get this cleared up as soon as possible.
