Who: Tim and Ruby What: training behind the complex When: Monday, November 18th Where: outside the complex. Warnings: TBA. Untrusty Tim and a demon. Who knows. xD
Tim was still on the mend, but he knew his body better than anyone and knew he could handle getting up and out of bed. Nobody else could tell him otherwise anyway. He was almost an adult, he could make his own decisions. He knew Dawn wouldn't like it, but he wasn't going out to fight crime or run rooftop miles, he was going out to his motorcycle to make sure it was still in good running condition, and to cure his restless boredom. He'd been laying there for almost a week in bed, and honestly could not take anymore. He didn't do well when he was cooped up and even a minute later Tim would have been snapping had he stayed. So he left his duffel bag of Robin things in his room so Dawn wouldn't freak, grabbed his tool kit and found his red bike.
The Red Bird was one of his favorite tools and waited for him parked behind the complex. He and Bruce had built it together when he first took up the mantle of Robin, and he'd cherished it ever since. He had the Red Bird 2, the hot car, but he liked the motorcycle better. The free feeling he got when he rode it was like none other. The wind through his black hair was the best part. And then when he pushed one hundred and the needle threatened to break he really felt like his name sake. Pulling out his keys from his sport coat pocket which was also lined with weapons on the inside, he clicked off the alarm and it beeped. It also crackled, a strange blue electricity field powered down from around it.
The motorcycle was in good condition for a vigilante tool. Hardly a scrape in the paint job, and the ones Tim did find he knelt down to and frowned at them at eye level. A frustrated sigh escaped his lips at a scrape that looked as though it'd been created by a knife. "..Man, never realized how much I'd miss Bruce's empire."
