The idea of someone having access to his mind, his thoughts and memories, like that, and in turn being able to see into theirs, didn't settle with him right. He came from a world where you read someone by watching their body, hearing their voice, and that was as far as it went. So his first instinct was to ask if that was a good idea, given that it swung both ways. But she knew better than he did.
"It'll give her an idea of what you experienced, yeah. Maybe you might get an idea of why she's thinking about doing what she is," he said. "What you went through was a kind of hell that no one should have to. But different situations, different perceptions, different answers to the problem.
"It's understandable that you're scared. This isn't that last time either. This time, there's people around that know what he's capable of. He'll never get that far if he does try it." He shook his head slowly. "A lot of this time lords and aliens goes over my head. I don't think I could give more of an answer or a reassurance than that."
