When he said he needed her, she glanced to him, then gave a small nod. He needed her to ID the victims, that was it. Her gaze flickered to the coroners again, and she tightened her grip on the strap of her bag. "Yeah, I get it." She took a deep breath, then looked over at him. "You do realize that I'm not usually...I don't usually work at the crime scenes. While the...remains...victims are still there, I mean. So it may not be my best...work."
She really didn't want to be there. The smell almost worse than most of what she'd seen in the lab-and that was saying a lot. For some reason, it was harder, seeing where the bodies were. After a moment, she slowly started to head over to where the bones and parts were being laid out, pulling out her sketchbook and a pencil as she walked over carefully.
