She was being stubborn. Still talking about how she was going to stick with him through everything; everything including Lilith, he imagined. Ruby could say all she wanted to about it. It wouldn't change anything. When the time came, Ruby was going to have to deal with the fact that he was doing this Lilith thing alone. He had seen too many people that he cared about just up and die on him and he wasn't about to add Ruby to the numbers. He'd rather die first and, from the way that all of this was beginning to look in his eyes, he probably was going to end up doing just that if he wasn't smart about how he took Lilith on. Hopefully he'd manage. If not, well...at least she'd be stopped. And at least the others would be alive right along with an apocalypse free world. "It is us all the way." He didn't specifically say promise. Sam was pointedly avoiding the word because he honestly couldn't run it across and keep to it. He was lying. But at least his lies were pretty vague right now. Outright telling Ruby that she was going to be at his side when he stared Lilith in the face was a bit too much. He couldn't do it. "I know you're gonna be there for me for as long as we both live. Just like I'm gonna be there for you. That's not something that you have to worry about, Ruby." Still no promises. But that was probably for the best.
She was such an unbelievable tease. Sometimes it got incredibly frustrating - she could distract him so easily. Other days, he found that he loved her to bits for it. Right now, it was a cross combination between the two. He wanted her, but he had to wait. Once they weren't stuck in the middle of Bobby's place, he'd take her. But having sex with Ruby here....it'd be wrong. It would be considered a crime, really. Or, at least, it might as well have been. And while he didn't want to go around breaking any laws, it was hard to resist when Ruby was continuously pressing against him. Sam liked the way she felt against him. So soft, warm, and beautiful. He couldn't help but gasp lightly against her mouth as she bit at his lip, half wishing that she'd stop for the sake of his sanity while the other half of himself was pleading for to keep at it. When she pulled away, Sam breathed out slowly and closed his eyes. He didn't let go of her though. Sam still kept his arms around her, not quite feeling the need to let Ruby get too far.
"Tonight. I'll get us a room." He opened his eyes and looked over at her. There was a glint in his eyes; that look flat out stated that he was looking forward to being with her. Even this, here, with him just staring at her....all that avoidance crap really wasn't good for them. Sam felt like he hadn't seen her in months. "We'll have the whole night to ourselves."
