Genetic. That seemed fair, some power this guy had that he'd figured out he had and wanted to work out, to master it. Jacen knew that feeling too, he still sensed conflict, a kind of base conflict that Cal seemed to be going through all on his own. And he wouldn't stop. It was kind of impressive in some ways. He was going to push himself to the edges of what he could, and who knew if even that would be enough. It might not be. Sometimes these things were harder, Still, some things didn't add up for Jacen. And he liked things to add up.
"Any reason you're mastering it on a rooftop?" he asked casually, walking around the rooftop a little, utterly confident in his surroundings, why wouldn't he be. He was entirely safe here, even with the unknown element that so intrigued him now. "And if you're in the mood for conversation you could tell me why, if its genetic you haven't mastered it already. Why its been this long and why only now you're on a rooftop bleeding"
It might have been arrogant to enquire like this, in fact it probably was, but then Jacen had never denied arrogance. He didn't see any reason he should.
