As he sat down on the bench, she turned her head in his direction, her sightless eyes still focused on the pavement. She smiled softly, but friendly, at him. "I am, sort of. I have been here for a little bit, but I have not gotten out much. I've only just begun to get comfortable enough with the surroundings to truly walk around." It had taken her a bit to learn the layout of her apartment, the hallway, the stairs, what floor she was on, and so forth.
"I'm Mina Harker," she introduced herself. She normally didn't give her last name, but since he had given his, she felt it was only proper to return the manners. "It's all right. I don't get out much, aside from learning the layout of the building and so forth. I don't want to end up as a heap at the bottom of the staircase, you know." She chuckled softly, well knowing a fall down the stairs wouldn't hurt her much at all, no matter how nasty the tumble was.
