=====================
Damien really wasn't sure about what to think about everything. On the one hand, he had a good job, was bringing in a little money, and had spent a week away at camp. Things were quieter there. And then there was the impending doom that probably would have ended everything if Glory had remained alive. And there was still a vampire threat out there. Now.. there were a lot of people around in different bodies. He had passed by a good number of them around the complex lately. Some he knew weren't really them. That was odd: he saw someone, yet it wasn't really them. He didn't have a whole list of who was changed. So mostly, whenever he passed by anyone, he was left wondering if it's really the person he saw, or someone else? He wasn't fully certain how he would take being in another body, let alone if it was the opposite gender. It would probably be as awkward as it already felt for those it happened to.
Right now? He was hungry. Maybe he could go for a quick bite. He had spent a few hours at the bar, socializing a bit, while tossing back a few rounds. He knew there were people there that were switched as well, though he did recognize Adam from before. But that was several hours ago. After a few hours following closing time, Damien headed back to the complex. He walked very fast as though he wee a man on a mission and knew exactly where to go. Because actually, he did. He didn't take long at all to come through the lobby and enter the kitchen. "Wow.. someone's been busy." He saw that the huge bowl of Halloween candy.. wasn't so full right now. Only a day before, he had set it there in the middle of the kitchen table. Now it was down to halfway full. Or a little less? Still plenty for average people. But at least someone, however many had gotten it, had enjoyed the treats. He didn't doubt that it would be completely gone in another day or two. But damn, they must have really liked that candy to have sampled so much in a short time. Maybe he would have some himself in a bit. But now he wanted food. And so he got out a plate, a couple pieces of bread, some ham, a knife, and a jar of mayo. "Mmm. Okay. I guess this will do." Humming to himself, he busily started making his sandwich and capped the jar again, prepared to eat the meal contentedly. As he took a bite, he wondered if anyone else was around the area right now...
