Needy rolled her eyes then. "Yeah, I'd do it," she said, frowning slightly once more. "The shitty thing is that it wouldn't be the first time I've had to kill off my best friend. So hey, why don't we just try not to let that happen, alright?"
And wasn't that the truth. Jennifer had been her best friend for most of their lives, ever since they were in pre-school and playing in the sandbox. But that didn't stop Needy from doing what had to be done. She didn't like killing Jennifer, hell just the road getting there had pushed her to the very edge of sanity. So really, there was no telling how far over that edge Needy would fall if she had to do something like that again.
But in this world, if anything happened that made it seem like she was going to have to go kill Cal, at least there were more resources. Here, the rules were different. There was no telling if she would actually have to kill him, there might be a way out of it.
"But hey, I expect you to do the same." She said she expected him to, not that she trusted him to. She still wasn't sure if Cal would be able to do it. At least he'd knock her around if she needed it, that was for sure.
