"Alright. Fluke it is. That's what we're going to stick with." Needy looked at him again then, putting a grin back on her face instead of the frown that she had been wearing for the past few minutes. "So, how'd the boot camp go for you? I know you had to enjoy the firearms day, if nothing else." She hadn't really seen him with them too often just yet, but Needy did know that Cal liked his firearms. He'd told her several times over the past few months.
"Plus, with you being even more anti-social than I am, and that's kinda saying something, you must have liked getting away from pretty much everyone. Except me. I know those nightmares were because you just missed me." And he'd knew her well enough to be able to tell by the tone of her voice that she was kidding. Or, at least she hoped he did.
